Fill Solution Tank with Sprayer Pump While Adding Chemicals Through Eductor

  1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer's labels before handling chemicals to prevent exposure to hazardous materials which could cause injury or be poisonous.

    IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

    CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), verify that Quik-Fill valve is closed.

    NOTE: Loading time is increased when using the eductor during loading.

    A - Quik-Fill Valve

    B - Cap

    C - Eductor/Tank Rinse Valve

    D - Bypass Valve

    E - Pull-On Fill Button

    F - Pump Speed Increase Button

    G - Pump Speed Decrease Button

    Verify that Quik-Fill valve is closed.



  2. Open lock levers and remove cap.

  3. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter, close lock levers, and open nurse tank valve.

  4. Verify bypass valve (D) is closed.

  5. Set eductor/tank rinse valve to eductor position (C).

  6. NOTE: Operator must monitor solution tank content volume using sight gauge to prevent overfilling solution tank.

    Rinse tank sump valve can be opened to aid in priming solution pump. Once pump is primed close rinse tank sump valve.

    Open Quik-Fill valve and press pull-on button (E).

  7. Adjust solution pump speed if desired using buttons (F and G).

    Slightly raise eductor and pull handle (A) to unlatch.



  9. Lower eductor and raise lid.

    B - Eductor Rinse Valve

    C - Rinse Nozzle

    D - Bypass Valve

    E - Eductor/Tank Rinse Valve

    Open eductor sump valve (A) (handle parallel with solution hose) to allow chemicals to be drawn from eductor hopper.



  11. Open eductor rinse valve (B) (turn clockwise) to rinse eductor hopper.

  12. Pour chemicals into eductor.

  13. Place chemical container over rinse nozzle (C) in tank and push down on container to rinse.

  14. After verifying that eductor is empty, close eductor rinse valve.

  15. Close eductor sump valve.

  16. Open bypass valve (D).

  17. Set eductor/tank rinse valve (E) to spray position.

  18. After solution tank has filled, close bypass valve.

  19. Place lid back on hopper and lift eductor back to its original position.

  20. Close nurse tank and Quik-Fill valves.

  21. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap.
