Fill Solution Tank with Nurse Tank Pump and Front Fill—If Equipped

  1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer's labels before handling chemicals to prevent exposure to hazardous materials which could cause injury or be poisonous.

    IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

    CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), verify Quik-Fill valve is closed.

    A - Front Quik-Fill Valve

    B - Cap

    C - Solution Tank Sump Valve

    D - Switch

    Verify front Quik-Fill valve (A) is closed and remove cap (B).



  2. Connect fill hose to Quik-Fill valve.

  3. Open solution tank sump valve (C), front Quik-Fill valve and nurse tank valve.

  4. Move switch (D) to ON position to open front fill isolation valve.

  5. NOTE: Operator must monitor solution tank content volume to prevent overfilling solution tank. When using an external pump source, the sight gauge may give erratic volume readings.  Therefore, a flowmeter is recommended to accurately monitor tank fill.

    Fill using nurse pump.

  6. Shut down nurse pump and press switch to OFF position to stop fill when desired level is achieved.

  7. Close front Quik-Fill and nurse tank valves.

  8. Disconnect fill hose and install cap.
