Fill Solution Tank with Nurse Tank Pump

  1. CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturer's labels before handling chemicals exposure to hazardous materials could poison and injure you.

    IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturer's instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

    CAUTION: Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), Verify Quik-Fill valve is closed.

    Verify Quik-Fill valve (A) is closed.



  2. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

  3. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quik-Fill adapter, close lock levers, and open nurse tank valve.

  4. Press push-on fill button (C).

  5. NOTE: Automatic fill is not active when filling with nurse pump. Operator must monitor solution tank content volume to prevent overfilling solution tank. When using an external pump source, the sight gauge may give erratic volume readings.  Therefore, a flowmeter is recommended to accurately monitor tank fill.

    Open Quik-Fill valve and fill using nurse pump.

  6. After solution tank has filled to desired level, shut down nurse tank pump and close nurse tank valve.

  7. Close Quik-Fill valve and press push-on fill button to close solution tank sump valve.

  8. Remove fill hose from Quik-Fill adapter and replace cap.
