System overheating in cold weather.

When operating machine in low ambient temperatures below -7°C (20°F), the hydraulic oil may overheat due to a restriction at the hydraulic oil cooler.

Install winter screens to hydraulic coolers to maintain correct temperature.

Sprayer will not travel forward or reverse with multi-function lever in forward or reverse.1

Low on oil.

Check for leak and correct. Fill hydraulic reservoir with oil to center of sight tube.

Plugged hydrostatic filter(s).

Change filter element(s).

Repair or replace.

Low on oil.

Check for leaks and correct. Fill hydraulic reservoir to center of sight tube.

Plugged hydrostatic filter.

Change filter element.

Exceeding limiter pressure.

Reduce speed.

Plugged shift orifice.

Could be something wrong inside motor so swash plate angle is not changing.

Drive system unable to maintain charge pressure.

See your John Deere dealer.

Sprayer not responding to target speed switch.1

Bad fuse.

Replace fuse.

Low on hydrostatic oil.

Check for oil leaks and correct. Fill hydraulic reservoir to center of sight tube.

Defective solenoids or switches.

Check and repair as needed.

Plugged hydrostatic filter.

Change filter element.

Air in system.

Tighten connections, hose clamps, and check for broken hydraulic lines.
