Inspect Service Brake Components—Annually

CAUTION: Service brake system operates at high pressure. To
avoid the risk of injury to yourself or bystanders, DO NOT crack lines
in this system if brake bleeding is necessary (See Bleed Service Brakes
in Chassis section of this manual). The hydraulic brake components
in this system should only be serviced by your John Deere dealer.

A - Spring Pins
B - Caliper Pins
C - Brake Pads
Remove spring pins (A) and caliper pins (B).

Remove brake pads (C) from between rotor and caliper.

Inspect brake pad material (A) for deep grooves, uneven wear,
and minimum thickness.
