Prepare Hydraulic System—John Deere 8000/9000 and R/RT Series Tractors

    The following instruction for preparing John Deere 8000/9000 Series Tractor hydraulic systems is provided as an example of process. See your tractor's operating manual for proper procedures to follow for your machine.

    Check hydraulic oil level. Fill if necessary.


  2. Press SCV I selector button (A) (depth control).

  3. Adjust flow rate (B) to fast position.

  4. Adjust detent time (C) to 10 sec.

  5. Press SCV II selector button (D).

  6. Adjust flow rate (B) to slow position.

  7. Set time adjustment (C) to "C" for continuous flow.

  8. Repeat setting for SCV III-V (if equipped) using charts below.
