Fill Solution Tank with Sprayer Pump While Adding Chemicals Through Eductor

CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturers labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to the solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturers instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

  1. Turn off solution pump switch (A).

  2. Turn on the agitation switch (B) and adjust to the desired level. (See Mixing Solution in Tank in this section.)

  3. Check if the Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) is in closed position.

    CAUTION: Quick Fill™ valve contain hazardous agricultural chemicals. Avoid serious injury or death to you or others. Before remove the Quick Fill™ valve cap, make sure that the valve is closed.



  4. Remove the Quick Fill™ valve cap (B).

  5. Connect the nurse tank fill hose to the Quick Fill™ valve.

  6. Turn suction valve handle (C) to closed position.

  7. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (D) to bypass position.

  8. Switch upwards the remote solution pump switch (E) to load position. Add approximately 300 L (80 gal) of water.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch (E), pump is designed to operate in low speed. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

  9. Remove the protections (if equipped):

    NOTE: There are machines with additional protections for taller/abrasive crops, like corn or sugar cane.

    1. Take off the rubber straps (C).

    2. Disconnect the slots J (D).

    3. Release the protection rubber (B).



  10. Raise eductor, and pull handle (A).

  11. Lower eductor and raise cover.

  12. Turn eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to MAX position.

  13. Turn the eductor hopper valve handle (A) to opened position.

  14. Put the chemicals into the eductor.

  15. Turn clockwise the eductor rinse valve handle (B).

  16. Place chemical over rinse nozzle (C) in tank and push down on the container to rinse.

    NOTE: Direct the stream of water from the rinse nozzle (C) for all internal walls of the packaging for at least 30 seconds.

  17. Close and latch cover of eductor.

  18. Open eductor cover valve (D).

  19. Close eductor cover valve (D).

  20. Close eductor rinse valve (B).

  21. Unlatch and open eductor cover.

  22. Check if the eductor is empty.

  23. Close the eductor hopper valve handle (A).

  24. Turn the eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to closed position.

  25. Places cover back on eductor and lift it back to its original position.

  26. IMPORTANT: Failure to perform the following steps in order can create pressure spikes in the solution system that may cause pressure transducer failure and other component damage.

    Turn Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) to closed position.

  27. Move remote solution pump switch (B) to spray position.

  28. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (C) to spray position.

  29. Turn suction valve handle (D) to solution tank position.

  30. Remove the fill hose from the Quick Fill™ adapter and replace Quick Fill™ valve cap (E).
