Fill Solution Tank with Nurse Tank Pump while Adding Chemicals Through Eductor

CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturers labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to the solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturers instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

  1. Operate engine at 1800 rpm.

  2. Turn off solution pump switch (A).

  3. Check if the Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) is in closed position.

  4. Remove the Quick Fill™ valve cap (B).

    CAUTION: Quick Fill™ valve contain hazardous agricultural chemicals. Avoid serious injury or death to you or others. Before remove the Quick Fill™ valve cap, make sure that the valve is closed.

  5. Connect the nurse tank fill hose to the Quick Fill™ adapter and close the lock levers.

  6. Turn the pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (C) to spray position.

  7. Turn the suction valve handle (D) to solution tank position.

  8. Turn the spray boom shutoff valve handle (A) to closed position.

  9. Turn on the nurse tank pump and open the Quick Fill™ valve.

  10. Switch upwards the remote solution pump switch to Load position and add approximately 379 L (100 gal) of water.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch, pump is designed to operate in low speed. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

  11. Remove the protections (if equipped):

    NOTE: The machines prepared for spraying sugar cane have additional protections.

    1. Take off the rubber straps (C).

    2. Disconnect the slots J (D).

    3. Release the protection rubber (B).



  12. Raise the eductor, and pull the handle (A).

  13. Lower the eductor and raise the cover.

  14. Turn the eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to MAX position.

  15. Turn the eductor hopper valve handle (A) to open position.

  16. Put the chemicals into the eductor.

  17. Turn clockwise the eductor rinse valve handle (B).

  18. Place chemical over rinse nozzle (C) in tank and push down on the container to rinse.

    NOTE: Direct the stream of water from the rinse nozzle (C) for all internal walls of the packaging for at least 30 seconds.

  19. Close and latch cover of eductor.

  20. Open the eductor cover valve (D).

  21. Close the eductor cover valve (D).

  22. Close the eductor rinse valve handle (B).

  23. Unlatch and open the eductor cover.

  24. Check if the eductor is empty.

  25. Close the eductor hopper valve handle (A).

  26. Turn the eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to closed position.

  27. Turn the remote solution pump switch to spray position.

  28. Place the cover back on tank and return eductor back to its original position.

  29. After solution tank has filled, close the Quick Fill™ valve.

  30. Turn off nurse tank pump.

  31. Remove the fill hose from the Quick Fill™ adapter and replace the Quick Fill™ valve cap.

  32. Open the spray boom shutoff valve.
