Use Eductor to Load Chemicals with Solution Tank Full

CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturers labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to the solution tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturers instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

  1. Operate engine at 1800 rpm.

  2. Turn off the solution pump switch (A).

  3. Turn on the agitation switch (B) and adjust to the desired level. (See Mixing Solution in Tank in this section.)

  4. Check if the Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) is in closed position.

  5. Turn the suction valve handle (B) to solution tank position.

  6. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (C) to spray position.

  7. Switch upwards the remote solution pump switch (D) to load position and add approximately 300 L (80 gal) of water.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch (D), pump is designed to operate in low speed. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

  8. Remove the protections (If Equipped):

    NOTE: The machines prepared for spraying sugar cane have additional protections.

    1. Take off the rubber straps (C).

    2. Disconnect the slots J (D).

    3. Release the protection rubber (B).



  9. Raise the eductor, and pull handle (A).

  10. Lower the eductor and raise cover.

  11. Turn eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to MAX position.

  12. Turn the eductor hopper valve handle (A) to opened position.

  13. Put the chemicals into the eductor.

  14. Turn clockwise the eductor rinse valve handle (B).

  15. Place chemical over rinse nozzle (C) in tank and push down on the container to rinse.

    NOTE: Direct the stream of water from the rinse nozzle (C) for all internal walls of the packaging for at least 30 seconds.

  16. Close and latch the cover of the eductor.

  17. Open the eductor cover valve (D).

  18. Close the eductor cover valve (D).

  19. Turn the eductor rinse valve handle (B) to close position.

  20. Unlatch and open the eductor cover.

  21. Check if the eductor is empty.

  22. Turn the eductor hopper valve handle (A) to closed position.

  23. Turn the eductor flow rate valve handle (A) to closed position.

  24. Place the cover back on eductor and lift it back to its original position.

  25. Switch downwards the remote solution pump switch to spray position.
