Charging Batteries (Removed From Machine)
Keep battery fully charged, especially during cold weather.
Failure to keep battery fully charged, above 12.5 volts, may result
in reduced battery life.
CAUTION: Never charge a frozen battery. Thaw at room temperature
before connecting to the battery charger. Only charge batteries in
a well ventilated area.
IMPORTANT: If the sprayer is out of operation for more than
1 month, turn it on for at least 30 minutes to recharge the batteries.
-
Open battery access door.
-
Disconnect negative (-) battery terminals (A).

-
Disconnect positive (+) battery terminals (B).
-
Remove the battery tie-down bracket (C).
-
Remove batteries.
IMPORTANT: Set battery charger at values between 13.8 to 15
Volts.
Pay attention to the next steps when charging the battery:
-
Ventilate the area where batteries are being charged.
-
Do not charge a frozen battery. Warm to 16°C (60°F)
before charging.
-
To perform a fast charge, the maximum voltage value is 15.6
Volts. For this procedure, the battery temperature must remain below
65°C (149°F). The battery must be charged until the current
reduces to a value below 1 Ampere.

CAUTION: Always use battery chargers with adjustable voltage.
Note the voltage range to be used. High load voltages can damage the
battery and cause explosions.
CAUTION: Avoid injuries. Immediately turn off the charger if
the battery heat or generate any audible noise. Wait 30 minutes and
disconnect the charger. First remove the negative cable and then the
positive.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the battery is fully charged before
use. Charging failures result in reduction of load capacity and service
life.
