Only transport machine at narrowest
tread adjust settings.
IMPORTANT: Always transport the sprayer with the spray booms
onto the spray boom supports.
-
Check that slow-moving vehicle emblem is installed on the spray
boom or on the rear of the sprayer.
-
Start the machine. (See Engine Start in Operating the Engine
section.)

A - Light Switch
B - Headlights Position
Turn the light switch (A) to the headlights position (B)
and turn on the hazard warning lights. Check if all lights are functioning
properly.
-
Adjust tread width to narrowest position. (See Wheels, Tires,
and Tread section.)
-
Fold spray booms. (See Fold Spray Boom in Spray Boom section.)
-
Check if the BoomTrac
Pro system is disabled. If it is not, turn it off. (See
Operate BoomTrac Pro in BoomTrac
Pro (If Equipped) section.)
-
Relieve spray boom pressure. (See Relieve Spray Boom Pressure
in this section.)
-
Push hand throttle forward until the maximum engine speed.
-
Select an appropriate speed range. When the machine is started,
a low range is automatically selected by the Chassis Control Unit.
CAUTION: Do not exceed your local or national maximum transport
speed limit.
IMPORTANT: Never exceed maximum tire load during road transport.
The maximum tire load can vary depending on the supplier of the tires.
For precise information, consult the supplier of the tires.
Road transport with tank loads above the maximum axle load limitations
may result in premature tire wear and failure. Exceeding these limitations
may void manufacturers warranty. Check the machines axle weights before
transporting loaded machine. (See Tires Inflation Pressure in Wheels,
Tires, and Tread section.)
-
Push multi-function lever slowly forward to start forward travel.
Continue pushing multi-function lever forward to increase ground speed.
When engine reaches the maximum engine speed, press top of the speed
range switch to advance to higher speed range, if desired.
CAUTION: When transporting machine downhill at transport speeds,
machine tries to hold the target speed until engine begins to overspeed.
At this time, the vehicle speed could increase beyond target speed.
Before starting down a hill, select a speed range (30 mph maximum)
that is appropriate for the load on the machine and the steepness
and length of the slope.
-
To reverse travel direction, move multi-function lever to neutral
position, and press service brake pedal as required to stop machine.
Move multi-function lever to the right and rear to back up machine.
Reverse speed available is proportional to the target speed selected.
