Agitation System of Tank Solution

NOTE: With the solution tank filled and solution pump primed, complete the following steps to thoroughly mix chemicals.

1. Make sure Quick Fill™ cap (A) is equipped and Quick Fill™ valve (B) is closed.

2. Turn suction valve (C) to solution tank position.

3. Turn solution tank valve (E) to opened position.

4. Turn spray boom shutoff valve (F) to closed position.

5. Turn pressure bypass valve (D) to spray position.

6. Open agitation flow rate valve (A) to desired position.

   NOTE: Amount of agitation is determined by how far agitation flow rate valve (A) is opened and how the spray off pressure is set.

7. Enter desired agitation pressure as spray off pressure in SprayStar™. (See Set Spray Off Pressure in SprayStar™ section.)

8. Push solution pump switch (B) forward to engage solution pump.

9. Push agitation switch (C) forward to open agitation valve.

10. Mix solution thoroughly before operating in the field.

    NOTE: When the machine is not spraying, the agitation pressure will be the same as spray off pressure entered into SprayStar™. To increase agitation, increase spray off pressure setting. Reset spray off pressure (if it has changed) before spraying in the field.

    To minimize foaming run at lower agitation rate, turn off agitation when tank volume drops below 378.5 L (100 gal) to prevent foaming and air in system.

    NOTE: If a higher level of agitation is necessary, turn the bypass valve (D) to the solution tank position for a few minutes.
