STOP and Service Alert Indicators
NOTE: Not all STOP and service alert indicators show a text
message on the GreenStar display and a diagnostic trouble code.
STOP Indicator
STOP Indicator (A): The light flashes
and an audible alarm sound continuously to alert the operator that
a serious malfunction has occurred, which requires immediate attention,
otherwise the sprayer is damaged.

E - Description
When the STOP indicator (A) turns on, immediately stop the operation, reduce the engine speed to low idle, shut off
the engine and turn the ignition key to the run position to observe
the Message Center for problem identification. Correct the problem
before restarting the machine.
When a malfunction or a situation that is out of range is detected,
the display is cleared and a full-page diagnostic trouble code containing
the control unit (B) followed by an industry standard number is displayed.
Numbers to the left of the decimal indicate the malfunction (C) and
numbers to the right of decimal indicate the condition (D). A brief
description (E) is also shown.
See the diagnostic trouble codes list in this Section for possible
actions an operator can take. Record and give this information to
your John Deere dealer, if needed to diagnose the problem.
If a code is not listed in this Section of this manual, see
your John Deere dealer.
Service Alert Indicator
NOTE: When a service alert indicator (A) turns on, restart the
engine to verify if the active diagnostic trouble code reappears before
contacting your John Deere dealer. Sometimes the diagnostic trouble
code can be corrected by resetting the communication messages when
the sprayer is restarted.

A - Service Alert Indicator
B - Description
Service Alert Indicator (A): The light
flashes and an audible alarm sounds to inform the operator that a
performance or operational problem has been detected, which needs
to be resolved as soon as possible. If appropriate corrective action
is not taken soon (serviced, repaired, operated in a different manner),
a significant reduction in performance occurs, resulting in machine
damage.
A description (B) of the alert is shown at the GreenStar display
and it remains visible as long as the condition persists.
See the diagnostic trouble codes charts or the Troubleshooting
Section in this manual for possible actions an operator can take.
Record and give this information to your John Deere dealer, if needed
to diagnose the problem.
If a code is not listed in this Section of this manual, see
your John Deere dealer.
