Warming and Operation the Engine Slow

IMPORTANT: Do not operate the engine on full load until it has fully warmed up. Allowing the engine to idle at low speed uses fuel inefficiently and can cause a buildup of carbon in the engine.

Do not subject the machine to a full load until the engine has fully warmed up. To warm up the engine, run the engine at 900 rpm with no load for 1—2 min. At external temperatures below the freezing point, run the engine for 2—4 min.

If the machine is stopped with the engine running for 3—4 min, or more, the engine speed must not be lower than 1200 rpm.

View the engine coolant temperature (A) on Sprayer Main Page if that feature has been selected on one of the drop-down menus available. Refer to SprayStar™ System Section.
