Prime Solution Pump with Rinse Tank Water

Perform this procedure when nurse tank level is even or below the solution pump.

CAUTION: Read carefully the directions printed on the chemical manufacturers labels before handling chemicals or you may be exposed to hazardous materials which could poison and injure you.

IMPORTANT: Do not add chemical to tank until just before field use. Follow the chemical manufacturers instructions for mixing the spray solution to obtain the desired application rate and effect.

IMPORTANT: To avoid components damage, perform all these steps in order.

NOTE: Sprayer pump may not pull solution into the solution tank if fluid level in the nurse tank is below the solution pump on machine.

  1. Fill rinse tank with clean water using rinse tank fill valve (A). (See Fill Rinse Tank in this Section.)

  2. Operate engine at low idle.

  3. Turn off solution pump switch (B).

  4. Check if Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) is in Closed position.

    CAUTION: Quick Fill™ valve contain hazardous agricultural chemicals. Avoid serious injury or death to you or others. Before remove the Quick Fill™ valve cap, make sure that the valve is closed.



  5. Remove Quick Fill™ valve cap (B).

  6. Connect nurse tank fill hose to Quick Fill™ adapter and close lock levers.

  7. Turn the suction valve handle (C) to Rinse position.

  8. Turn the pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (D) to Bypass position.

  9. Switch upwards the remote solution pump switch (E) to Load position.

    NOTE: When using remote solution pump switch (E), pump is designed to operate in low speed. Engine speed will automatically increase to 1800 rpm.

  10. Turn the Quick Fill™ valve handle (A) to Open position.

  11. Draw water from the rinse tank for approximately 5 to 10 seconds.

  12. With the solution pump running, turn the suction valve handle (C) to Closed position (straight up).

  13. After solution tank has filled, close the Quick Fill™ valve.

  14. Switch downwards the remote solution pump switch (E) to Spray position.

  15. Turn pressure bypass/rinse valve handle (D) to Spray position.

  16. Turn suction valve handle (C) to Solution Tank position.

  17. Remove the fill hose from the Quick Fill™ adapter and replace Quick Fill™ valve cap (B).
