Set Tread Width—With Hydraulic Tread Adjust Option

CAUTION: Transport machine at narrowest tread adjusts setting only.

NOTE: Wheels can be adjusted to any wheel spacing between 2286 mm (90 in) and 3048 mm (120 in).

If sticking occurs, remove debris from axle knees and spray with TY25733 teflon based lubricant. Activate tread adjust in and out until free.

1. Start machine.

   IMPORTANT: Machine damage can occur to suspension and wheel assembly if tread width is adjusted when machine is stopped or when machine is moving over 3 km/h (2 mph).

2. Shift machine into first speed range using the speed range switch (A). Drive the machine slowly forward.

   B - Front Control Switch

   E - Indicator

   1. To adjust the front wheels, press and hold down the left-hand/right-hand control switch (A) to the desired side. Together, hold the front control switch (B) to the left-hand side to decrease the tread width, or to the right-hand side to increase the tread width.

   2. To adjust the rear wheels, press and hold down left-hand/right-hand control switch (A) to the desired side. Together, hold the rear control switch (C) to the left-hand side to decrease the tread width, or to the right-hand side to increase the tread width.

   NOTE: If machine is not equipped with hydraulic tread adjust, switches are inoperative.

   If desired, the wheels of both sides can be adjusted at the same time.

   When adjusting the wheels tread width, use the decals (D) and the indicators (E) at the front and the rear of the machine. When the desired wheel tread setting is aligned with indicators stop machine and check wheel tread setting.
