Whole Body Vibration
The weighted root mean square acceleration to which the whole
body is subjected ranges from 0.27 m/s2 to 1.35 m/s2 as measured on
a representative machine during typical operations and analyzed in
accordance with ISO 2631-1. During the same operations, the weighted
root means square hand-arm vibration was less then 2.5 m/s2 when analyzed
in accordance with ISO 5349. These acceleration values depend on the
roughness of the ground, the speed at which the sprayer is operated,
the maintenance of the machine, the settings of the suspended seat,
and the operator’s experience, body weight, and operational
habits.
