Clean Fill Strainer

CAUTION: Spray system can contain hazardous material which can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Wear protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves. Drain solution and clean strainer in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, and so on, cannot be contaminated.

  1. Verify if Quick Fill™ valve (B) is closed.

    CAUTION: Be sure that Quick Fill™ valve (B) is close. It can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others.

    A - Fill Strainer

    B - Quick Fill™ Valve

    C - Cap

    D - Suction Valve

    E - Pressure Bypass/Rinse Valve



  2. Open lock levers and remove cap (C).

  3. Verify if suction valve (D) is in close position (straight up).

  4. Verify if pressure bypass/rinse valve (E) is in spray position.

    CAUTION: Do not drain solution onto the ground. Drain into a suitable container. Drain solution in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, and so on, cannot be contaminated.

  5. Open Quick Fill™ valve (B) and drain solution into a suitable container.

  6. Close Quick Fill™ valve (B) and replace cap (C).


Machines Prepared for Spraying Sugar Cane

NOTE: The machines prepared for spraying sugar cane can have additional protections.

  1. Remove the rubber straps (B).

  2. Disconnect the slots J (C).

  3. Release the protection rubber (A).

  4. Remove plug (A) and drain the leftover solution into a suitable container.

  5. Remove retainer ring (B) and strainer cap.

  6. Remove and clean the fill strainer (C).

  7. Install the fill strainer (C) into the fill strainer body.

    NOTE: Verify if the fill strainer is properly seated in the fill strainer body before cap is installed. If the fill strainer is not fully seated, cap and O-ring may not seat properly allowing leaks to occur.

  8. Install the cap on the fill strainer body.

  9. Tighten cap and check for leaks.
