Clean Eductor Filter

  1. Locate the eductor filter (A) in the machine.

  2. Close shutoff valve (B).

    CAUTION: Do not close the filter shutoff valve with the solution pump running. This action can trap pressure in the system that can be hazardous when opening filters for cleaning.

  3. Remove the cover (C) and let the solution drain into a suitable container.

    CAUTION: Wear protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves. Spray system can contain hazardous material which can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Do not drain solution onto the ground. Drain into a suitable container. Drain solution in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, cannot be contaminated.

  4. Remove the filter (D) and wash with clean water.

    IMPORTANT: Perform a visual inspection on the eductor filter. If damaged, contact a John Deere Dealer to replace the filter.

  5. Install the filter (A) on the cover (B) with the sealing (C) facing the bottom of the cover (B).

  6. Reinstall the cover (B) on the filter assembly.

  7. Open shutoff valve.
