Clean Flowmeter

1. Turn off the solution pump.

   A - Solution Pump Shutoff Valve

   B - Spray Boom Shutoff Valve

   CAUTION: Do not close the spray boom shutoff valve with the solution pump running. It can trap pressure in the system and can be hazardous when remove the flowmeter for cleaning.

2. Close the solution pump shutoff valve (A).

3. Close the spray boom shutoff valve (B).

   CAUTION: Do not drain solution onto the ground. Drain into a container and in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, and so on, cannot be contaminated.

4. Remove flowmeter (A).

5. Clean flowmeter with water and neutral detergent or with John Deere Brake and Parts Cleaner (TY26101). Make sure the turbine (B) turns easily.

6. Reinstall the flowmeter (A).

7. Open the spray boom shutoff valve.
