Check Shim Gap on Axle Tread Adjust

Measure gap (A) between the lower machined surface of the axle knee (B) and upper surface of the lower shim pad (C). If the gap exceeds 1.5 mm (0.060 in) at outside end of pad, adjust shim gap. (See Adjust Shim Gap in Wheels, Tires, and Tread Section.)
