Replace Fresh Air Filters

CAUTION: The fresh air filters are not designed to filter out harmful chemicals. Follow the instructions from this manual and follow the instructions given by the chemical manufacturer when using agricultural chemicals. If respiratory protection is required for use of pesticides, wear an appropriate mask inside the cab.

IMPORTANT: Activated carbon filters cannot be cleaned. Replace them at the correct service intervals.

NOTE: If the machine operates in dusty and dry conditions, replace the cab air recirculation filter more often.

NOTE: There is one fresh air filter in the left-hand side and one in the right-hand side of the cab.

  1. Remove the cover wing screws (A) and remove the cover.

  2. Remove the wing screws (A) and remove the fresh air filter with the support.

  3. Install a new fresh air filter in the support.

    IMPORTANT: Use a John Deere carbon actived fresh air filter. See your John Deere dealer.

    NOTE: Make sure that the fresh air filter gasket (A) is facing away from the support.



  4. Install the fresh air filter on the cab. Follow procedure in reverse order, observing the following:

    1. Clean the opening in the roof and check the sealing surfaces before reinstall the fresh air filter.



    2. Make sure that the bushing (A) is correctly installed, after the support.
