Replace Hydrostatic and Hydraulic Oil Filters

  1. Park the machine on a level ground.

  2. Shut off the engine.

  3. Place a suitable container under the hydrostatic oil filters (A) and under the hydraulic oil filter (B).

  4. Remove the hydrostatic oil filters (A) and hydraulic oil filter (B).

  5. Coat the seal of the new filters with clean hydraulic oil.

    NOTE: See the correct hydrostatic/hydraulic drive oil in Fuels Lubricants, and Coolants Section.

  6. Install the hydrostatic oil filters and the hydraulic oil filter until the seal contacts surface. Then tighten 1/2 turn by hand.

  7. Check the hydrostatic/hydraulic oil level. Add oil if necessary. See Check Hydrostatic/Hydraulic Oil Level in Service—Daily or Every 10 Hours Section.

  8. Start up the engine.

  9. Shut off the engine.

  10. Check hydrostatic/hydraulic oil level. Add oil if necessary. See Check Hydrostatic/Hydraulic Oil Level in Service—Daily or Every 10 Hours Section.
