Oil cooler system clogged

Clean the oil cooler system.

 

Clogged suction strainer

Faulty expansion tank cap

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Exceeded relief valve pressure

Shift down one speed range.

 

Clogged oil cooler bypass valve

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Excessive high-pressure leakage

Charge flush is inadequate

Loop flush is inadequate

Sprayer will not travel forward or reverse with multi-function lever in forward or reverse position.1

Clogged hydrostatic oil filters

Replace the hydrostatic oil filters.

 

Hydrostatic control cable linkage improperly adjusted

Exceeded limiter pressure

Shift to low speed.

 

Broken driveshaft from engine to pump

Air leak in the system

Tighten connections.

 

Drive system inoperative

Disconnect radar and use wheel speed sensor.

Clogged hydrostatic oil filters

Replace the hydrostatic oil filters.

 

Exceeding limiter pressure

Clogged shift orifice

Could be something wrong inside motor so swash plate angle is not changing. See your John Deere dealer.

 

Blown or leaking shift hoses

Repair or replace.

 

Drive system unable to maintain charge pressure

Blown fuse

Replace fuse.

 

Low hydrostatic/hydraulic oil level

Defective solenoids or switches

Blown fuse

Replace fuse.

 

Neutral safety switch out of adjustment, faulty wiring, or inoperative switch

Hydrostatic cable out of adjustment.

Wheel motors will not engage

Hydrostatic/hydraulic system out of oil

Fill up the reservoir to the specified level. Check the hydrostatic/hydraulic system for leaks.

 

Drive hubs disengaged.

Engage drive hubs.

 

Hoses incorrectly connected

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Damaged or faulty wheel motors

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Damaged or faulty drive hubs

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Faulty wheel motor/hub coupling

See your John Deere dealer.

Excessive hydrostatic system noise

Faulty hydrostatic drive pump isolators

Check the hydrostatic drive pump isolators. If there are signs of any damage, looseness or missing bushings, see you John Deere dealer.

 

Low hydrostatic/hydraulic oil level

Fill up the reservoir to the specified level. Check the hydrostatic/hydraulic system for leaks.

 

Air in system

Tighten connections, hose clamps, and check for broken lines.

1 When operating in temperatures below -12 degrees C (10 degrees F), run sprayer for 10-15 minutes to warm up hydrostatic drive oil.
