A - Hand Throttle Lever
B - Speed Range Switch
C - Multi-Function Lever
The ladder retracts automatically when the operator sits
on the seat and machine start to move.
-
Move the hand throttle lever (A) forward until the maximum engine
speed.
IMPORTANT: Machine can be damaged if the speed range switch
(B) is moved from a higher speed range to a lower speed range exceeding
3000 rpm. Speed range can be changed when machine is moving or stopped.
IMPORTANT: Drivetrain damage can occur if multi-function lever
is advanced more than halfway when wheels are spinning.
NOTE: When machine is started, or has been shut down and restarted,
the Chassis Control Unit (CCU) control the speed range.
-
Select the first speed range with the speed range switch (B).
NOTE: Speed range selected is displayed on the bottom line of
Sprayer Main Page.
-
Push multi-function lever (C) slowly forward to start forward
motion. Continue pushing lever forward to increase ground speed. Change
speed range switch to higher speed range when engine reaches maximum
rpm.
IMPORTANT: If engine is under load, and the engine speed is
below 2000 rpm for an extended period, the engine and the drivetrain
can overheat. To reduce engine load, slightly pull back multi-function
lever (C) to reduce engine load.
For satisfactory performance,
with lower fuel consumption, observe the following recommendations:
-
To engage reverse gear, move multi-function lever to neutral
position, and press service brake pedal to stop machine. Move multi-function
lever (C) back until reverse gear position.
NOTE: To have maximum tractive effort, machine has to be in
first speed range.
