AutoTrac™ Calibration

1. Park the machine on a level ground with the engine running.

2. Turn the steering wheel to the right-hand side until touch the stops. Then turn the steering wheel to the left-hand side until touch the stops.

   Repeat this for at least three times to purge air from the hydraulic lines and rephase the steering cylinders.

   Select the Menu button.

6. Select the Vehicle Calibration tab (B).

7. Select the AutoTrac™ Calibration button (C).

   Follow all instructions shown on the first screen:

   1. Stop the sprayer or travel at low speeds (less than 5 km/h (3 mph)).

   2. Warm hydraulic oil to 60—80°C (140—190°F).

   3. Stay seated at the operator’s seat until the calibration ends.

   4. Keep the AutoTrac™ resume switch depressed during the automatic steps of the procedure.

9. Select the Enter button (D) to begin calibration.

    Follow all instructions shown on the second screen:

    1. Turn the steering wheel counterclockwise until the left-hand steering stop is reached.

    2. While holding the steering wheel against the left-hand steering stop, press the Calibration button (E) to store.

    1. Turn the steering wheel clockwise until the right-hand steering stop is reached.

    2. While holding the steering wheel against the right-hand steering stop, press the Calibration button (F) to store.

    Follow all instructions shown on the fourth screen.

    1. Press and hold the AutoTrac™ resume switch to begin the valve deadband calibration process. The sprayer steers automatically using the EH steering valve.

    2. When pressing and holding the AutoTrac™ resume switch, the sprayer begins to turn to the left-hand side. Steering motion begins slow down twice. The valve commands are displayed as the valve deadband is found. After finding the left-hand deadband, the sprayer steers to the left-hand steering stop.

    3. After, the sprayer begins to steer right using the EH steering valve. Steering motion begins slow down twice. The valve commands are displayed as the valve deadband is found. After the right-hand valve deadband is found, the control unit begins to center the sprayer steering. Continue to hold the AutoTrac™ resume switch.

    NOTE: On hard surfaces, it may be necessary to have the machine moving slowly forward to aid in automatic steering.

    After the sprayer steering is centered, release the AutoTrac™ resume switch. Select the Enter button (G) to save the calibration values.
