NOTE: A better draining of oil and debris is obtained when the
oil is warm.

Park machine on a flat, level surface.

M4030 Front and Rear Final Drives in Drain Position
Rotate wheel until the arrow (A) is pointed to 2 hours position.

Remove drain plug (C) and drain the oil into a suitable container.
NOTE: Drain the final drive oil for at least one hour. If the
final drive oil is not warm, some oil may remain in the internal components
of the final drive after draining.

Reinstall drain plug (C).

Remove the fill plug (E).
-
Remove the fill level plug (D).

IMPORTANT: To ensure proper planetary final drive operation,
the oil supply cannot exceed the level indicated.
Fill the final drive until oil level (B). (See correct oil specification
in Lubricants - M4030 Self-Propelled Sprayer section).

Reinstall the fill plug (E) and fill level plug (D).

Operate the sprayer at 40 km/h (25 mph) for 15 to 20 minutes.
CAUTION: In a condition where it is not possible to operate
the machine at this speed with safety, operate in a lower speed during
more time.

Stop the machine and park the sprayer on a level surface.

Rotate the wheel until the arrow (A) is pointed to 2 hours position.
Wait for some minutes until the oil is cooled.

Remove the fill level plug (D).

Verify if the oil level has decreased.
IMPORTANT: This verifying ensure that the sprayer works with
the correct oil level.

If the oil has not decreased, reinstall the fill level plug
(D).

If the oil has decreased, remove the fill plug (E) and fill
the final drive until oil level (B). After doing this procedure, reinstall
all the final drive plugs that were removed.
