Adjusting Deck Plates

NOTE: Deck plates are factory set.

1. Set deck plates to closed position (cylinder (A) fully extended). Verify left-hand side deck plates are in the closed position and reset and tighten clamp if necessary.

2. Clamp (B) should close and crimp tie bar when hardware is tightened. Install pivot arms on remaining row units.

causym CAUTION: Hydraulic accumulator (C) may only be detached or put into operation by hydraulically trained engineers or technicians. Do not perform any welding, soldering or mechanical work on the hydraulic accumulator.

3. Loosen cap screws (A) retaining right-hand side deck plate to row unit frame.

4. Set front spacing (B) to 18 mm (23/32 in.) and rear spacing (C) to 20 mm (25/32 in.).

5. Tighten cap screws to specification.
