Attaching the 630C Pickup with Rigid Frame1. On each side of attaching frame, remove angle (A) and spacer (C) (if equipped).

Slide cam clutch assembly (B) on shaft (A) until it contacts stop.

Lower the cutterhead assembly and position it parallel to the pickup. Move the harvester toward the pickup and raise the cutterhead assembly so that lugs (A) are located exactly underneath the pickup frame.
4. Continue to raise pickup until it is off ground. 5. Remove quick-lock pin (E) (if equipped). Engage locking pins (B) in pickup attaching holes (C) by lifting and sliding bolts (D). Reinstall quick-lock pin (E) (if equipped). NOTE: If pickup attaching holes are not facing locking pin, adjust pickup attaching hole supports. (See Adjusting Pickup Attaching Hole Supports (630C with rigid frame) in this Section.)

Connecting drive shaft:
On 6000 and 7000 Series Harvester IMPORTANT: It is absolutely necessary to readjust harvesting unit float system after pickup has been attached. (See your self-propelled forage harvester Operator's Manual.) Press pin (A) and simultaneously push cam clutch yoke (C) onto drive shaft (B) until pin engages. Fully raise the pickup and secure the harvester lift cylinders with the safety lock. (See your self-propelled forage harvester Operator's Manual.) Align pickup drive shaft (E) with the forage harvester header drive shaft (B). |

7.
Lock jackstands (A) on the r.h. and l.h. side in the highest position. To do this, pull out spring-loaded pin (B) and let it re-engage when the jackstand is in its final position.

CAUTION:
Make sure all jackstands are secured.
