Adjusting Crop Deflector

A good adjustment of the crop deflector will improve the pickup feeding ability. A good adjustment is achieved when no material is projected forward the pickup cylinder and when no material stays ungripped by the auger.

The crop deflector (A) can be adjusted in two ways:

Height of crop deflector. See Adjusting Crop Deflector Working Height in this Section.

Angle of crop deflector sheet. See Adjusting Crop Deflector Sheet Angle in this Section.
