Setting Roller Compression Unit in Operating Position (Option)

1. Fully extend cylinders (B) to raise roller compression unit (A).

2. Move the gauge wheels outwards into working position.

a. Hydraulically foldable gauge wheels (option)

Actuate hydraulic cylinders (A) and move gauge wheels (B) outward into operating position.

b. Standard gauge wheels:

Remove drilled pin (A) on both sides.

Move wheels supports (B) outward into operating position.

Secure rods (D) with drilled pin (A).

3. Slowly lower the roller compression unit (A).

NOTE: Gauge wheels are automatically unlocked and can turn freely when gauge wheels are lowered onto the ground.

Lower pickup onto the ground and drive forage harvester forward until gauge wheels are swiveled into driving direction.
