Adjusting Feed Auger SpeedDepending on field conditions and harvester working speed, the feed auger speed can be modified allowing the pickup unit to better match with the harvester output. Pickup base machine is delivered with a 38-tooth auger drive sprocket (A). As an option it can be equipped with a 30-tooth auger drive sprocket (A) to increase the feed auger speed. Refer to the following chart to select the appropriate speed. The speeds of the auger are given in the chart below. |
