Working Under A Raised Roller Compression Unit (Option)

causym CAUTION: Pay extreme attention when clearing blockages or working under a raised roller compression unit (option). The tips of rake (A) can cause serious injury.

IMPORTANT: Before working under a raised roller compression unit, proceed as follows:

1. Raise the pickup completely:

Press and hold top of switch (B) until the pickup is raised to its maximum height (X).

2. Install locking pin (A) into guide (B) of forage harvester to secure harvesting unit lift cylinders.

3. Raise roller compression unit (A) completely:

Press and hold top of switch (B) until the roller compression unit is raised to its maximum height.

4. Close safety valve (A) to prevent roller compression unit from unintentional lowering.
