Depending on the configuration of forage harvester/rotary harvesting unit, there may be considerable variations in ballast requirements with the support wheel attached. For correct ballasting ALWAYS refer to the relevant ballasting chart in this Section.

For some forage harvester/rotary harvesting unit configurations it is required to fill the tires with liquid (ballast).

Alternatives to liquid ballast in tires:

• 10 more weight plates (A) of 42.5 kg (93.7 lb) may be used if the total does not exceed 14 plates, or
• 10 more suitcase weights of 40 kg (88.2 lb) on the rear weight carrier (B).

IMPORTANT: Add enough weights to keep four-wheel drive efficiency and steering function when braking.

Do not overload rear tires, especially when rotary harvesting unit is removed.
