Checking Transmission/Hydraulic System Oil Level

Check oil level when oil is cold. If possible, check the oil level in the morning after the tractor has been standing overnight.

  1. Park tractor so that it is level.

  2. Apply handbrake (transmission in neutral).

  3. Lower draft links and front-mounted implements.

  4. Check the oil level at the sight-glass.

Oil level must be between the two marks. If it is not, top up with oil at the oil filler neck (A).
