Installing Rear Hanger-Later Model 5020 and 5025 Series Tractors

NOTE: Rear backhoe hanger and drawbar are heavy. Use a proper lifting device when removing and installing.

1. Remove PTO shield mounting hardware (A) on each side and remove PTO shield (B).

2. Remove cap screws (C) from both sides of drawbar support.

3. Remove cap screws (F) and drawbar support plates (D and E).

A-Bottom Cap Screw (4 used)
B-Cast Drawbar Support
C-Rear Cap Screw M14 x 30mm (6 used)
D-Rear Hanger
E-Bottom Cap Screw M16 x 60mm(4 used)
F-Cap Screw M14 x 30mm (6 used)
G-Grind Chamfer

4. Remove four bottom cap screws (A). Remove cast drawbar support (B).

NOTE: Cast drawbar support and rear hanger must sit flush. If left and right side mounting cap screws (F) do not align when positioned modify cast drawbar support by grinding 6 mm (1/4 in) chamfer (G) if necessary, as marked in photo.

NOTE: Cap screws (C, E and F) will be tightened to specification during the frame alignment procedure. Do not overtighten.

5. Install rear hanger (D) using six M14 x 30mm cap screws (C). Do not tighten at this time.

6. Install cast drawbar support (G) using six M14 x 30mm cap screws (F). Do not tighten at this time.

7. Install four M16 x 60mm cap screws (E). Do not tighten at this time.
