Adjusting Operator's Seat

Front-to-Back Adjustment

IMPORTANT: TO PREVENT MACHINE DAMAGE, DO NOT INSTALL SEAT IN POSITION FARTHEST FROM BACKHOE CONTROL LEVERS ON CAB TRACTORS. THIS POSITION (SHOWN IN FIGURE) MAY INTERFERE WITH CAB.

1. Remove four 5/16 x 3/4 in. cap screws and lock washers (A) holding seat to seat plate (B).

2. Seat can be installed into one of three positions where holes line up. Use position that allows operator to reach controls easily. Tighten all hardware securely.

Height Adjustment

1. Remove carriage bolts (B), lock washer (C) and hex nuts (A) , holding seat bracket (D) to adapter weldment (E).

2. Raise or lower seat bracket, as necessary, lining up holes with mounting holes in adapter weldment. Install carriage bolts, lock washers, and hex nuts.
