Raising and Lowering Hood


Raising

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the Safety Section.)

    A - Hood Release Lever

    Pull up on hood release lever (A).

    B - Hood Support

    C - Support Arm

    Raise hood until support (B) moves past center and locks into place as shown.



Lowering

  1. Check to be sure hood latch is free of debris.

  2. Lift hood slightly and pull arm (C) on hood support forward to release the support.

  3. Slowly lower hood.

  4. Push down on front of hood to lock latch.
