Using Rear Power-Take-Off (PTO)
IMPORTANT: Avoid Damage! Use rear mounted equipment rated for
540 rpm. Do not operate PTO over 540 rpm mark on tachometer.
NOTE: The PTO is only operational with the operator in the seat.
Engaging the PTO

A - PTO Engagement Switch
Sit on operator seat.

Stop machine motion, remove foot from forward and reverse travel
pedals.

NOTE: The starter will not crank if the PTO switch knob is pulled
up into engaged/on position. If the operator leaves seat with engine
running and PTO engaged, the safety interlock system will stop the
engine.
Reduce throttle setting to 1500 rpm.

Pull PTO knob to engaged/on position to engage PTO.

Adjust engine speed control knob forward to desired speed for
implement use.
NOTE: The PTO icon on the tachometer indicates correct engine
rpm for a standard 540 PTO.
Disengaging the PTO

Adjust engine rpm to slow idle.

Push PTO switch knob down to the disengaged/off position.
