Entering and Exiting Backhoe

Entering

1. Stop machine on a level surface, not on slope.

2. Disengage PTO and stop attachments.

3. Lower attachments to ground.

4. Lock park brake.

   C - Stabilizer Pins

   Leave tractor running at desired engine speed. Unlock stabilizers and lower to ground. Store stabilizer pins (C) in storage position.

6. Enter backhoe from right side (left side of tractor), using hand rail near controls and on ROPS.

Exiting

1. Fully raise and center the boom.

2. Fully retract the dipperstick.

3. Curl the bucket back into dipperstick.

   B - Swing Lock Pin

   If not already done, install boom lock pin (A) and swing lock pin (B).

5. Exit the backhoe from the right side.

6. Push stabilizer control levers back to fully raise stabilizer legs and install stabilizer lock pins.

7. Flip backhoe seat up for tractor operation if needed.
