Removing Mower

1.

   A - Front Draft Skit

   Park machine on a level surface, not on a slope. If ground conditions are soft, place a piece of plywood under the mower front draft skid (A) before lowering and removing.

2. Remove front weights, if installed. Replace weights after mower is removed.

3. Lock park brake.

4. Disengage mower blades.

5. Ensure tractor can be driven rearward to deposit mower and that sufficient room exists to back fully off deck before turning tractor wheels.

6. Release gage wheel locks, and set height of cut control to INSTALL position. 6.

7. Lower mower to ground and stop engine.

   A - Drive Shaft Collar

   B - Yoke Assembly

   C - PTO Shaft

   Standard Drive Shaft Models Only: Disconnect the drive shaft as follows:

   1. Pull the drive shaft collar (A) toward the front of the machine to release the yoke lock.

   2. Pull the rear yoke assembly (B) straight toward the front of the machine until it has cleared the PTO shaft (C).

      B - Hanger

      Place the rear yoke assembly (A) in the hanger (B) on the right side of the mower.

9. 
   LV24002-UN-04AUG15

   A - Lock Lever

   B - Mower Lock

   Raise the lock lever up (A) to release the left and right rear mower lock (B). If lock sticks, pull mower rearward on machine.

10. Start engine and engage tractor MFWD in low range.

11. Slowly back tractor straight off mower.

12. Raise lift system fully and turn height of cut control to the lock position.

13. NOTE: Do not use the front draft link assembly as a handle to move or reposition the mower deck.

    When removing the mower for storage:

    1. Remove the front draft link assembly (A).

    2. Remove the tension spring and two lock pins (B).

    3. Remove the lift link assembly from the mower.

    4. Retain all components for later installation.

14. Replace weights that were previously removed.
