Raise and Lower Mower

The machine can be equipped with a mechanical or hydraulic mower lift control system. The height-of-cut control is the same for all systems. All controls are described below.


Mechanical Lift System

IMPORTANT: Avoid Damage when using the mechanical lift system. To prevent unintended operation, do not connect any implement or attachment to the three point hitch when the machine is being used for mowing operations.

A - Rock Shaft Lever

A mechanical mower lift kit is connected to the machine rock shaft and operates with the rock shaft control lever (A). See the machine Operator’s Manual for operating instructions for your specific model.

Hydraulic Mower Lift

A - SCV Lever

A hydraulic mower lift system operates independently of the machine rockshaft and operates by the machine SCV lever (A).

To raise the mower:

  1. Pull the SCV lever (A) to the left to raise the mower.

  2. Make height-of-cut adjustment, if necessary.

To lower the mower:

Lower the mower by pushing the SCV lever slightly to the right. Avoid engaging the regeneration function, do not push the lever fully to the right.

A - Mower Lift Switch

A hydraulic mower lift system operates independently of the machine rock shaft and is operated by the machine mower lift switch (A). See the machine Operator’s Manual for operating instructions for your specific model.

To raise the mower:

  1. Pull the mower lift switch up to raise the mower.

  2. Push the mower lift switch down to lower the mower.


Third Function Hydraulic Mower Lift System (If equipped)

Third Function

A third function SCV hydraulic mower lift system operates independently of the machine rockshaft and is operated by the machine third function button on the SCV lever (A). To raise and lower the mower deck, use the third function button.
