Lubricate Discharge Chute and Cable Pulleys

1. Start engine.

2. Turn the chute completely to left. Hydraulic cylinder must be retracted.

3. Park tractor safely. (See Parking Safely in Safety Section of the tractor operator’s manual.)

   B - Stop Nuts

   Remove stop nuts (B) and cable shield (A).

   A - Cap Screws

   Loosen cap screws (A).

6. Disconnect cable ends from chute.

   A - Clip (4 used)

   B - Cap Screw and Nut (8 used)

   Remove cap screws and nuts (B).

8. To remove discharge chute, remove the clips (A).

9.

   Apply grease on the bottom and inside flange of the discharge chute.

10. Place discharge chute over auger opening on the auger housing.

    A - Clip (4 used)

    B - Cap Screw (5/16 x 3/4 in), Lock Washer, and Nut (8 used)

    Install clips (A) with cap screws, lock washers, and nuts (B).

12. Turn the chute so spout faces left. Route the two chute cables. (See Route Chute Cable in the assembly section.)

13. Apply light grease to cable pulleys.

14. Install the cable shield. (See Install Cable Shield in the assembly section.)
