Warm and Idle the Engine

Warm the Engine

1. Lock the park brake.

2. Set the hand throttle to the 1/2 throttle position for 5 minutes without load.

Idle the Engine

1. Allowing the engine to idle for long periods of time wastes fuel and causes carbon buildup.

   Set the hand throttle to the low idle position.

2. Apply the park brake.
