Checking Transmission Oil Level

  1. Park machine safely. Allow machine to cool down for at least 1 hour.

  2. IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Dirt and contamination can enter transmission when checking oil level. Clean area around dipstick before removing.

    Do not overfill transmission. Oil expands during operation and could overflow.

    A - Dipstick

    Pull to remove dipstick (A), located at left side of transaxle. Wipe with a clean cloth.


  3. Install dipstick.

  4. Remove dipstick.

    B - Oil Level Mark

    C - Oil Level Mark

    Check oil level on dipstick. Correct level is between oil level mark (B) and (C) on dipstick.

    D - Oil Filler Cap

    If oil level is low, remove oil filler cap (D) and add recommended oil until the level is correct.


  7. If oil exceeds top mark on the dipstick, drain to proper level.

  8. Install and tighten filler cap.

  9. Install dipstick.
