Checking and Draining Water Separator

CAUTION: Avoid injury! Fuel vapors are explosive and flammable:

• Do not smoke while handling fuel.
• Keep fuel away from flames or sparks.
• Shut off engine before servicing.
• Cool engine before servicing.
• Work in a well-ventilated area.
• Clean up spilled fuel immediately.

1. Park machine safely. Allow engine to cool.

   Covers removed for clarity

   A - Sediment Bowl

   B - Indicator Ring

   C - Drain Cock

   Check sediment bowl (A). If the orange indicator ring (B) is floating, water is present.

   1. Place drain pan under sediment bowl.

   2. Turn drain cock (C) to open position.

   3. Drain water until the orange indicator ring re-seats back on the bottom of bowl.

   4. Turn drain cock to closed position.
