Checking Air Filter Hose

NOTE: Inspect air intake system hoses and connections each time the air filter is changed, or at a minimum yearly.

1. Park machine safely.

2. Raise hood.

3. NOTE: Visually inspect hose for cracks and wear. Squeeze hose to check for deterioration. Hose should not be hard and brittle, nor soft or swollen.

   A - Hose

   B - Hose clamps

   C - Air Intake Duct

   Check air intake hose (A).

4. Tighten hose clamps (B) on air intake hose (A) and air intake duct (C) if necessary.

5. Check for wear on air intake duct (C).

6. Lower hood.
