Engage and Disengage Broom

Avoid injury! Make sure all shields and guards are installed.

Wear eye protection while operating.

Keep bystanders away from rotating broom.

Always be aware of broom discharge direction and foreign objects which could be thrown.

Use the slowest effective brush speed to reduce risk of thrown objects.

1. Review tractor operator’s manual for instructions on using PTO.

2. Start the engine.

3. Move throttle lever to 1/3 throttle position.

4. Engage the PTO.

5. Move throttle lever to appropriate operating speed for the job.
