Fill the Fuel Tank
Avoid injury! Fuel vapors are explosive and flammable:

Shut off the engine before filling fuel tank.

Allow the engine to cool before refueling.

Do not smoke while handling fuel.

Keep fuel away from flames or sparks.
-
Fill the fuel tank outdoors or in ventilated area.

Clean up spilled fuel immediately.

Use a clean approved non-metal container to prevent static electric
discharge.
Avoid damage! Dirt and water in fuel causes engine
damage:

Clean dirt and debris from the fuel tank opening.

Use clean, fresh, stabilized fuel.
-
To keep condensation out of the fuel tank, fill the fuel tank
at the end of each day of operation.

Use a non-metallic funnel with a plastic mesh strainer when
filling the fuel tank or container.
To prevent condensation and freezing during cold weather, fill
fuel tank at the end of each day of operation.

Park the machine safely.

Allow the engine to cool.
-
Remove any trash from area around the fuel tank cap.

A - Fuel Tank Cap
Release pressures in the tank by removing the remove fuel
tank cap (A) slowly.
-
Fill the fuel tank to bottom of filler neck. Do not overfill.
-
Install the fuel tank cap.
