Park tractor safely on a flat level surface.

Engage park brake, start engine and run at low idle.

Install swing lock if not already installed.

Lift backhoe seat up to clear the tractor.

Without raising the tractor up, lower stabilizers to touch the
ground.

Lower boom while keeping dipper vertical.
-
Place bucket flat on the ground with bucket teeth facing tractor.

Extend boom to remove pressure from upper install pins.
-
Remove upper install pins.
-
Slowly raise boom and backhoe lifts off the tractor.

Move tractor ahead about 8 inches.
-
Raise boom and install boom lock pin.
-
Raise stabilizers up until they lock.

Shut off tractor.

Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing
serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting
hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying
pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands
and body from high pressure fluids.If an accident occurs,
see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be
surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors

Disconnect backhoe coupler tip from power beyond hydraulic coupler.

Disconnect backhoe hydraulic tank line coupler from tractor
coupler tip.

A - Storage Hooks
B - Lift Arm Stop
Connect coupler to backhoe coupler tip and store lines under
backhoe seat on storage hooks (A).

Connect tractor power beyond hose to tractor coupler tip.
-
Remove lift arm stop from the machine.
-
Install lift arm stop (B) under backhoe seat on storage hooks.
-
Install center link on the machine.
